At the beginning of this year, we hosted Alpha for the first time. Alpha is a series of interactive sessions, creating a space for people to explore the basics of Christianity and to discover life, faith and meaning.

Being online, it was a fantastic way to welcome and connect with new people, explore and discuss those big questions on life and faith. Here are some thoughts from those who attended…

“It was good to hear different perspectives on Christianity from different backgrounds. I thought the videos were really helpful too.”

“I felt emotionally moved by the topics that allowed an evaluation/deeper reflection into my life and what this means for me. This led to spiritual growth and a deeper connection to God and Jesus. I spent hours just pondering what had been said and the questions that were asked would be on my mind for a while. Most of these sessions had this meaningful impact. During a couple of sessions, something clicked or was emotionally overwhelming – in particular, the first session and the session revolving around Jesus and the cross and the Holy Spirit weekend.”
